March 30 ~ Everyday Gospel ~ Tired

I woke up tired today. Ever have those days?

According to my Fitbit I got 8 hours of sleep, but I think it lies. This time of year I’m almost always tired. The Apostle Paul made tents for a living so he would not be a financial burden upon on those to whom he ministered. My “tent making” is accounting and this time of year is extraordinarily busy – we will do 60-70% of our work for the year in less than three months. So being tired goes with the territory.

Today’s Good News is we have a God who never slumbers. He does not get tired, and He is never in need of sleep. Which means He is always fully aware of where we are and what we need.

Do you feel abandoned by God? I can assure you that is not the case. You may feel that way, but it is simply not true.

He is with you. He is watching over you. He is providing everything you need exactly when you need it. And that’s Good News.
