Working Sabbaths are not nearly as nice as non-working Sabbaths. Which I guess is the point – a working Sabbath is really no Sabbath at all.

Such is the life of an accountant in tax season.

But I certainly have many things to be thankful for today. Prayer requests for safe travels have been answered. I have fulfilling work to do. I have wonderful community.

Today’s Good News is even if you’re busier than you would like to be, take time to remember all of the blessings you enjoy every day – both small and large.

Maybe today wasn’t everything you wanted it to be, but you are dearly loved by many and you have a God who knows you and loves you – and that’s Good News!
