“Gospel” is a popular word in today’s “church world,” but what does it really mean? How often is the “Gospel” simply and clearly defined?

For all the books written and sermons preached on the subject, one could easily get the impression that the “Gospel” is complicated and difficult to understand.

It’s not.

In fact, the “Gospel” is amazingly simple.

It’s not simplistic. It is simple. Yet, its application is wide spread and we therefore hear about it in many different ways.

It is vitally important that we have a foundational understanding of the Gospel so that all of the different applications we read and hear make sense and align with what the Bible teaches.

In the coming weeks, we will look at the “Gospel” as:

• The “Big Picture” Gospel (From Genesis to Revelation)
• The Gospel According to Webster
• True Freedom (Law and Grace)
• Gospel Obedience (G-O)
• It is Finished!
